The leadership of the APC says the suspension of Senator Shehu Sani from
Tudun Wada ward of the All Progressives Congress in Kaduna state is
invalid and not binding. The APC members in the ward had in December
last year, suspended Sani over allegations of him working against the
state governor, Nasir El Rufai.
Speaking to newsmen at the Northwest Zonal meeting of the party yesterday January 11th, the vice chairman of the party and zonal chairman North West, Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir said the ward chairman had written to the national body distancing himself from the reported suspension

“We wish to state here that the purported suspension is invalid and not binding and is of no effect, the right procedure was not followed, and the national body is in receipt of a letter from the ward chairman dissociating himself from the suspension and giving an insight into the matter.”he said
