Anglican Bishop of Western Izon Diocese, Delta State, Rt. Rev. Edafe
Emamezi, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to extend his corruption
probe to all living former political office holders for his
anti-corruption crusade to the desired result.The Buhari administration has limited its probe to the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
But Rt. Rev. Emamezi said that the campaign should cover all corrupt politicians who are still alive.
“The love of money and power are the things that are dividing Nigeria”, the Anglican Bishop said.
Emamezi also urged Nigerians to set aside their ethno-religious differences and imbibe the spirit of reconciliation in order for them to be united.
“Nigerians should use this occasion of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ to be on the part of unity through forgiveness and reconstruction”, the Anglican Bishop added.
