obasanjo-buhariThe Anglican Bishop of Western Izon Diocese, Delta State, Rt. Rev. Edafe Emamezi, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to extend his corruption probe to all living former political office holders for his anti-corruption crusade to the desired result.
The Anglican Bishop, who made the call in his homily yesterday at the diocesan headquarters in Patani, Patani Local Government Area, Delta State, also stressed the need for Nigerians to support the anti-corruption crusade.
The Buhari administration has limited its probe to the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
But Rt. Rev. Emamezi said that the campaign should cover all corrupt politicians who are still alive.
“The love of money and power are the things that are dividing Nigeria”, the Anglican Bishop said.
Emamezi also urged Nigerians to set aside their ethno-religious differences and imbibe the spirit of reconciliation in order for them to be united.

“Nigerians should use this occasion of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ to be on the part of unity through forgiveness and reconstruction”, the Anglican Bishop added.
